Just to make a difference
In one other life
To effect their perspective
Towards love
Clarifying that which cannot be clarified
Walking the path before them
Serving them and sacrificing self
Simply for the sake of loving them
Separating self desire to the point of pain
Becoming a slave to servitude
Stepping away from me for want for them
This is true love
Forgiveness encapsulates the truth
There is no love without forgiveness
No salvation
Not the word in and of itself but...
The act of forgetting what another has done,
How they wronged you
Completely striking it from your mind
Casting it away to never hold it against them
Burying the barrier of remembrance
This is the way to true love
