Burst into action in 2008 as an 18yr old. Breaking records at a young age and scoring 26 goals in his first 54 games with AC Milan made him a golden teenager.
The Brazilian’s hope began to fade when injuries came knocking, later he declined. He’s currently with Sao Paulo age 25.
DIEGO ROBINHO
Arrived at AC Milan from Santos as a Very fast and tricky young dribbler. He failed to live up to potential in Europe with bad spells at Madrid, Manchester City.
ADRIANO
Despite enjoying title successes and fame at San Siro between 2005 and 2009, off-field problems, alcoholism hindered his career and he never once became the star he was for the remainder of his career.
ANDERSON
Not really a shooting star as he had time to live up to expectations burdened on him by Manchester united fans, but he failed at it. Injury helped his decline with poor dieting which made him grow fat hindering his acceleration.
BOJAN KRKIC
Spanish golden boy, scoring 16 goals in 20 under 17 appearances made him famous. Tagged little Messi, he began his career at Barcelona, but inability to live up to expectations made him today a stoke city player.
MARIO BALOTELLI
“Super Mario” as he’s infamously tagged. Started his career with Milan. Playful, unserious and a after a number of disciplinary problems his career began to decline. Unreliable as he had an off season in Liverpool. Currently on loan at Milan.
EDUARDO DA SILVA
A very bright Arsenal youngster, fast and complete striker, already nicknamed “young henry”. But had his career hindered on 23rd feb 2008 with a broken foot which was very bad. When he came back he simply wasn’t the player he was. Currently in Shaktar Donetsk.
G. DOS SANTOS
Giovani a Mexican footballer who came out as a fascinating youngster, breaded by Barcelona and one of the best teenagers of his time. Played most of his career on loans and unsettled. Never lived up to expectation.
TOM CLEVERLEY
The man cleverly thought to be the heir to the great legendary midfielder Paul Scholes. Had two good seasons with Manchester United then the bad one came which they failed to make top four. He was the scapegoat for their misfortune. Currently with watford after a mixed spell with Everton Fc.
QUARESMA
The Portuguese began his footballing career at Sporting. His popular style of mixing tricks like Rabona and Trivela into his style of play made him famous and took him to bigger stages Barcelona and Chelsea. Didn’t live up to expectation as he faded.
