Besiktas seem to have completed the loan signing of goalkeeper, Lloris Karius from Liverpool.

The Turkish club looked to have announced the deal in the most unlikely manner by changing their twitter header to the goalkeeper's image.

Karius has experienced a torrid time at Anfield since moving to England from Mainz. He has made a total of 29 appearances and a few high profile errors.

Most notably was his double error in the Champions League final against Real Madrid which the Reds lost 3-1.

He dropped the ball to the feet of Karim Benzema to gift Madrid the lead and then later fumbled Gareth Bale's long range effort for the winner.

Liverpool went ahead in the summer to break the world record by signing the most expensive goalkeeper in World history, Alisson Becker from AS Roma.

Although over the last couple of days, Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp had denied any possibility for the goalkeeper moving to Besiktas. He denied having any knowledge of such.

The Former Mainz goalkeeper was on the bench in Liverpool's opening game as they won 4-0 against West Ham but was unnamed in the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday.
