In what will seem like the fight for the gladiators,the premier league top 4 battle has come to be one of its kind. The top 4 clubs to emerge on the league table gets to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in the next season. Hmm! no wonder the uneasiness.
The premier league table pictures Liverpool FC and Manchester City sitting comfortably at the top 2 spots as 1st and 2nd positions on the league table. Remember that Liverpool side has already been crowned champions. While Chelsea, Leicester City and Manchester United are in great contest for the 3rd and 4th place respectively.

Just when we thought that Manchester United will go ahead of Chelsea and Leicester City to seal their top 4 bid, judging from their brilliant form since the restart of the season after the corona break, they also drew (2:2) with Southampton from a late goal from obafemi Martins who ensured The Southampton side pulled a point back. It was a heart breaking night for the United fans.
However, the Chelsea side has gone forward on Tuesday night to beat Norwich city in a (1:0) final score line hence increasing their chances of making the top 4 as they currently sit on the 3rd spot. Also on Thursday night both Leicester and Manchester United beat their opponents, just as we saw Leicester City beating Sheffield united (2:0) and Manchester United beating crystal palace side (2:0).
But is the season over yet,not at all just as we saw the Leicester side loosing 3:0 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday night giving their top 4 battle a heavy blow. Chelsea sitting on the 3rd spot with 63pts has 2 matches left to play where they face the Liverpool side and Wolves.
Also Manchester United has 2 matches left to play and the Leicester side having one left. With both clubs sitting at the 4th and 5th places on the league table with 62 points each with same goal difference of 28.But if the Manchester United side should secure a win in their next match they will go ahead of the leceister city side with 3 points. The both teams look forward to turning things for their favour just as we see

If Chelsea can secure a single win from their last 2 fixtures they will finish in the top 4. Also if the United side can secure both wins or a win and a draw from their last 2 fixtures then they will make the top 4.
