If there's something memorable happened this year, it's probably the fact that I got quarantined for 14 days.

Yep, I was quarantined for 14 days when I arrived in Dauin, Negros Oriental. It was January 2021 that I arrived in the island and they required a 14 day quarantine that time to anyone that comes in. I was from Cebu that time and I was about to start my job for Anahaw.

Prior to my trip, I have secured several documents to travel. It was a long process and going in and out of the barangay hall, city hall, health offices, police stations and laboratories. I have acquired permits and certifications to travel and also for my dogs.

Anyways, I was so thankful that I was able to do my quarantine in a nice dive resort in Dauin named Bongo Bongo Divers. That time, tourism in Dauin is dead. This municipality was used to be filled with tourist who are fond of diving but when the pandemic hit, most of them were forced to fled the country because there is no livelihood and the movement were restricted.

I got the entire 2nd floor of one of the houses in Bongo. I have a very spacious area for myself and for my dogs. I brought my dogs from Cebu because no one will have to take care of them there. It was also a great idea for them to be with me. I'd probably die of boredom without them.

My friends/bosses will bring me food daily. Those foods were potentially gonna be on the menu of Anahaw. Some made the cut, some didn't. They will usually packed the food in a container and I will just transfer in on a bowl or plate to take pictures. Here are some of them.

Mixed Green Salad with a plate of Garlic Broccoli and Carrots with Spiced Chickpeas and Crunchy Mushrooms

Pickled Carrots, Sautéed Beanspouts, Fried Eggplant and Fried Marinated Tofu.

Vegan Chili Con Carne with Garlic Toast

Quinoa Salad with Broccoli, Carrots, Spiced Chickpeas and Greens

Greens, Picked Radish, Beansprouts and Tofu Chunks

Fettuccine with Zucchini and Nutritional Yeast

Spiced Sweet Potato, Roasted Bell peppers, Kernel corn and black beans with Green Salad

Fried Sweet Potato Wedges, Seaweed Chickpeas with Cucumber, Tomato and Parsley Salad.

And here's me. Extremely grateful and happy for all the healthy, delicious and beautiful food that I consumed during my quarantine.

If I'm not binge watching How To Get Away With Murder in Netflix, sleeping or eating, I do yoga. I was able to slowly memorize the flow in Ashtanga Yoga, practiced different and new poses.

My attempt to King's Pigeon Pose

This backbending pose is called Kapotasana or commonly known as Pigeon Pose. Also, you can see Chiyo checking if I'm okay.

Another attempt to King's Pigeon Pose.

My dogs were also on quarantined with me and they are not allowed to get out of the house but they tend to escape sometimes or they would go to the roof.

Chiyo was still a puppy when we went to Dauin.

He enjoys his siesta so much.

He likes to sleep on the afternoon and I enjoy taking his photos

Look at that. He gave me "smize".

If not on my bed, they will sleep on the couch.

When my quarantine ended, I was so happy so were my dogs. I immediately walked them out by the beach and I made myself comfortable by hanging out by the pool of the resort.

The beach is very close to Bongo Bongo and it's very known for it's marine sanctuaries.

I need to leash them while walking because there were so many beach dogs in the area. We don't want to get in trouble.

Such a view.

I was so thankful that I didn't got sick or felt sick during my quarantine. Aside from that I was able to spend time learning things about myself, practicing more yoga, spent a lot of time with my dogs and got to enjoy the best food anyone could imagine.
