We have gathered a fine collection of original writers with their own flavors and styles, and all of us have been working hard towards launch day and now we’re going to give you a taste of what we're cooking here.

Today, we live in a busy world. Time is valuable and people across the globe are cooking less and less each day. It’s becoming common place to come home and shove some frozen meal into the microwave. Two minutes and you have that lackluster meal we’ve all come to know. For centuries food has brought families and friends together. It was an intimate thing that people shared, and a centerpiece for society. For most people there is no story behind food anymore. We have let it lose it’s magic.

SteemianFoodNetwork will be launching many events in the next coming weeks but we’re kicking off with food-story. Today, each of our content creators will be releasing a unique, interesting, or personal story associated with a recipe. We’re bringing back the story and intimacy we used to have with food. Most important of all, we’re bringing SteemIt what it needs most, a stronger sense of community.
