We are working on Shiso Syrup production at scale this year as it was well received at a local market in Plagwitz, Leipzig called Samstagsmarkt and Akiko (@akipponn) got a support money from the state for the production.
A local farm Erntemich kindly said yes to grow Shiso plants for us.
We also found a local urbangarden Annalinde that they have a patch of Shiso and kindly share some to us.
Here is happy Akiko (@akipponn) with big Shiso bags 😊 We had five of them that means 6.5kg of Shiso LEAVES!
We are lucky that there are ambitious and likeminded farmers in the region and the market connection.
