Brussels sprouts with peaches and ham

▪ 6 slices bacon

▪ 1 onion (cut into slices)

▪ Brussels sprouts 450 gr (with top cut and halved)

▪ salt

▪ black pepper (coarse)

▪ 2 peaches (chopped)

▪ 2 tablespoons maple syrup

▪ 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Preparation:


In a saucepan set over the average temperature add heat and cook bacon until it is crispy. The bacon remove from heat and place on a plate and remove a tablespoon of fat.


Place pan with fat ham at temperatures above average. Add onions, Brussels sprouts, ¼ teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.


I cook by mixing occasionally until the cabbage to get brown and softened, about 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile fragment ham.


Add peaches and cabbages that have brown and the maple syrup. I stir constantly until the heated peaches, for 1-2 minutes.


I remove from heat. I add lemon juice, some salt and black pepper. I mix gently.
