This picture does not do this flower justice. In person it was the most beautiful purple. The pot designated it as a "Thomas A. Edison".
I looked it up online and a nursery site said that this dahlia is a full double flower that can grow up to 8 inches across.
All I can say is it was so pretty and made me smile.
