This picture was taken last February 9, 2018. During the Grand Float Parade of Pamulinawen Festival of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte Philippines 🇵🇭
It caught my attention & it makes me amazed because of its beauty which is the product & process of planning, designing & constructing indigenous materials and agricultural products to form this mini architectural works which serves as a cultural symbols & as a work of art made by my fellow Ilocanos(so proud of it). And take note that this is built in a “KARISON” - the very first vehicle used by the Ilocanos towed by a carabao or ox to transfer peoples, goods & agricultural products to another place.
To give you an idea if what “KARISON” is all about, I try my very best to draw it to show you what KARISON looks like.
Thank you so much steemians!
