Born Again: Lessons from the Holy Scriptures

Born Again: Lessons from the Holy Scriptures

fuente

Why is it necessary to be born again?

When Adam sinned and voluntarily revealed himself against God, he brought death as a consequence for all mankind. Therefore, when every human being is born, he is born dead. "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so death happened to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12.

Then, are all human beings, though physically alive, without Christ spiritually dead?

Likewise is, as the Bible says, the holy word of God: "Sin entered into the world through one man (Adam), and through sin death spread to all men" Romans 5:1. The word death means separation, and when we speak of spiritual death we mean separation from God. Every man is separated from communion with God from the moment of his birth. That is what spiritual death means.

Does the Bible give us a solution to this problem?

Yes, God in His infinite love has provided a solution. He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die our sins. St. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Why was it necessary for Him to die in my place?

We as sinners deserved eternal death, but in His infinite love, Jesus offered His life to die in our place. And when He died, He paid the price necessary for reconciliation between God and men. Isaiah 53:6 "But the Lord hath laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all. This does not mean that automatically all human beings have their sins forgiven, it is necessary that each man be born again.

We will continue in the next opportunity my esteemed community thank you very much and may God bless you.
