Nigeria became a nation in the year 1960, October 1st precisely. We received freedom from our colonial master, Britain.
Fifty eight years after, we are now in a democratical setting having gone through several years of military ruling.
To God be the glory for the wonderful celebration of the populous nation in Africa and one of great nations in the world.
We got reasons to celebrate and bless God amidst our challenges. We are blessed with numerous resources both human and natural ones.
People may have different views about the people of the nation but I know that we are good people. We can not over emphasize the fact some people are bad but the percentage is at wanting rate.
No matter what you feel about the country when you hear the name, it is still my country and am happy to be a citizen.
I just want to appreciate God for the celebration. God bless my country and help our leaders too in the decision they make.
