### Helloooooo, my dear Hive Diy friends! Again saying present in the wonderful contests that our friend @jennyzer brings us promoting recycling and in some way contributing to the conservation of our planet through the creation of beautiful ornaments or any object that we can obtain from recyclable materials. This time the [contest](https://peakd.com/hive-130560/@jennyzer/creative-recycling-challenge-16-oror-its-time-to-recycle) is free. For my participation in it, I started from already recycled materials that I reused to create a Christmas wreath. About three years ago we made a frame with recycled materials, at that time I was not yet part of the Hive family, and among my entire family group we formed a frame to immortalize the farewell of 2018 and try to encourage our mother as we would pass the first year without our father and away from the family home. A few days ago, checking in the storage room, I rescued the frame and it occurred to me to reuse the entire frame. And from there I made a Christmas wreath full of many memories and ideal to participate in this wonderful contest. I hope you like it.

### ¡Holaaaaaaaaaaaa, mis queridísimos amigos de Hive Diy! Nuevamente diciendo presente en los maravillosos concursos que nos trae nuestra amiga @jennyzer promoviendo el recliclaje y de alguna forma contribuir a la conservación de nuestro planeta a través de la creación de hermosos adornos o cualquier objeto qu podamos obtener a partir de materiales reciclables. En esta ocasión el [concurso](https://peakd.com/hive-130560/@jennyzer/creative-recycling-challenge-16-oror-its-time-to-recycle) es libre. Para mi participación en él, partí de materiales ya reciclados y que reutilicé para la creación de una corona navideña. Hace aproximadamente tres años elaboramos un marco con materiales reciclados, para ese entonces aún no formaba parte de la familia de Hive, y entre todo mi grupo familiar formamos un marco para inmortalizar la despedida del año 2018 y tratar de darle ánimos a nuestra madre ya que pasaríamos el primer año sin nuestro padre y lejos del hogar familiar. Hace unos días atrás revisando en el cuarto del depósito rescaté el marco y se me ocurrió reutilizar todo el marco. Y a partir de allí elaboré una corona navideña llena de muchos recuerdos e ideal para participar en este maravilloso concurso. Espero les guste.

### **PROCESS** In the double-sided cardboard we make two circles, one of 15 cm in diameter and in the center another of 7.5 cm in diameter for the crown. Then we cut the edges and the inner part of the circle.

### **PROCEDIMIENTO** En la cartulina doble faz hacemos dos circulos, uno de 15 cm de diámetro y en el centro otro de 7,5 cm de diámetros para la corona. Luego recortamos los bordes y la parte interna del circulo.

### With the recycled cardboard pieces from the frame, we select pieces of the same color. I took green and red chunks for each side of the crown. My main idea was to make a reversible crown, but since I decided to place it on the door and it was little material, I only made one face. With the glue gun I glued each piece around the crown, on both sides and then I trimmed the excesses, as can be seen in the following images.

### Con los trozos de cartón reciclados del marco, seleccionamos piezas del mismo color. Tomé trozos verdes y rojos para cada lado de la corona. Mi idea principal era hacer una corona reversible pero como decidí colocarla en la puerta y era poco material, sólo hice una cara. Con la pistola de silicón pegué cada trozo alrededor de la corona, por ambos lados y luego recorté los excesos, como se aprecia en las siguientes imágenes.

### I had in mind to make the flowers with the same cardboard but when I started to make them, the cardboard cracked and I decided to make them with foam. I made 2.5 cm by 3 cm pieces for the flowers. Each flower requires 7 pieces of each color, that is, 14 pieces to make the flower. I joined with a point of silicone one of the ends and then I made a perpendicular cut in the other end. The 14 pieces are joined by alternating colors and forming the flower. I made 6 bicolor flowers for the crown. These are simple and easy to make flowers, and they are also very cute and showy.

### Tenía en mente realizar las flores con el mismo cartón paro cuando empecé a elaborarlas, el cartón se agrietó y decidí hacerlas con foami. Realicé piezas de 2,5 cm por 3 cm para las flores. Cada flor requiere 7 piezas de cada color, es decir, 14 piezas para formar la flor. Uní con un punto de silicon uno de los extremos y luego realicé un corte perpendicular en el otro extremo. Se unen las 14 piezas alternando los colores y formando la flor. Realicé 6 flores bicolor para la corona. Estas son unas flores sencillas y fáciles de hacer, además que son muy linda y llamativas.

### Once the flowers and the wreath were ready, I placed the string to hang and then I selected among the Christmas polystyrene figures that I liked the most and I stuck it on the string. And to finish I glued the flowers around the crown.

### Una vez listas las flores y la corona, coloqué el hilo para colgar y luego seleccioné entre las figuras de poliestireno navideñas que más me gustó y la pequé sobre el hilo. Y para culminar pegué las flores alrededor de la corona.

### In this way I created a beautiful crown. Many times we throw away materials and objects because we consider them useless and a large part of them we can reuse and create wonderful things. I really like participating in these @jennizer contests because we let our imagination run wild and prove that there are many benefits that we can obtain from recycling. ### De esta forma creé una hermosa corona. Muchas veces desechamos materiales y objetos porque los consideramos inservibles y gran parte de ellos podemos reutlizarlos y crear cosas maravillosas. Me gusta mucho participar en estos concursos de @jennizer porque ponemos a volar la imaginación y probar que son muchos los beneficios que podemos obtener a partir del reciclaje.
