Watch Your Steps

COVID-19 has done a major change to our daily lifestyle. The globe is on a standstill due to covid-19 & to protect ourselves from this deadly virus we are confined indoors.

Offices are shut and we are asked to work from home. Gyms & other centers are shut too. As it could turn into a major hotspot for this virus. Our daily activities have come to an halt.

But with all these restrictions and lockdowns once should try to keep their body as active as possible. The best way to do so is WALK. One should walk as much as possible. Keep that heart pumping and sweat out the stress and anxiety which has built up over time during these tough times.

It has been said that an individual needs to walk minimum 4000 steps everyday, which is the borderline of being healthy & active. Anything between 7000 to 10000 is ideal steps one should take. Waking helps your joints and points in your body to get loose and flexible which have gone stiff staying at home and doing nothing. It is also a great way to de-stress.

You don’t need to be in a park or need a treadmill at the gym to walk. You can simple walk indoors or in your society compound. I know it might get boring to walk round and round the same spot, but something is better than nothing. Plug in some good music and enjoy the walk. It is the best ever.

Currently we need to keep our immunity under check & strong. What’s better than walking and staying healthy. Best way to boost up that immunity. Plus as the restaurant are shut we have been eating healthy home food which is doing good to our body. Add waking and it will help to burn the calories the right way and help to lose weight.

I have been walking indoors for the past 3 months and have already lost 5kgs and believe me you feel soo good and fresh. Do it now and your body will thank you. It will refresh you and make your day wonderful. All smart phones have health app and you can track your steps on it.
