What Can Happen To Social Security?

In reality, different things may happen to the social security money through internal political and economic processes. For instance, growing number of cases of obesity, type two diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and consequences of these diseases, including growing number of disabled people, plus aging of the population resulting in too few people contributing to social security and too many people needing its support, may result in collapse of the social security system. And this is much more realistic than conquering of America. Also, growing social and economic inequality and high level of unemployment may render the social security system useless. Not necessarily it will collapse, but its cash flow may become such that it will not be able to provide sufficient support to those in need.
