| Today I just want to give you a little retrospective of the Fantasy Filmfest. The White Nights are the "Winter Weekend Edition" of the Festival and as always you got the chance to see 10 genre movies. It took place in Hamburg in my favourite cinema the "Savoy" on the 27th/28th January. | Heute möchte ich euch eine kleine Retrospective vom Fantasy Filmfest geben. The White Nights sind die "Winder Wochenend Version" des Festivals und wie immer bekam man auch hier die Chance sich 10 Genrefilme anzusehen. Das ganze fand am 27./28. Let the Corpses Tan - 100% Giallo arthouse. Great images, craftsmanship and sound. 🍿8/10🍿
The Shape of Water - Despite its Oscar buzz I think it ist just good. Beautiful fairytale. 🍿7/10🍿
You were never really here - 2017 Taxi Driver. One of Joaquin's best performances. 🍿7/10🍿
The Endless - Indie mindfuck. Not the best of its kind, but a good one. 🍿7/10🍿
Ghost Stories - Horror anthology from the UK with a well known but good twist. 🍿6/10🍿
The Little Hours - Harmless feel good Nunsploitation. 🍿6/10🍿
Hostile - Zombie dystopia love story. Pretty fresh and good looking. 🍿6/10🍿
Cold Skin - Weird creature feature. Still digesting it, did't get me 100%. 🍿5/10🍿
The Lodgers - Early 20th century haunted house. I've seen to much movies with this setting. 🍿5/10🍿
Les Affamés - Zombie dystopia from Canada. Had its lengths an an artsy twist. Not my cup of tea. 🍿4/10🍿

The Shape of Water - Trotz des Oscar Hypes finde ich ihn nur gut. Ein schönes Märchen. 🍿7/10🍿
