The last time I walked up these stairs was about 25 years ago, when this was still a garden centre. Now it is a temporary art gallery and I am grateful that this building, however awkward and maladapted it maybe, survived this long. I will miss it when it is gone or turned into overpriced loft apartments. Weird how sometimes you cannot forget these seemingly bland places that hold so many memories.
