ein neuer Beitrag zu dem #FilmFriday, initiiert durch #javehimself. Heute gibts einen fast aktuellen Film aus dem Jahre 2017, allerdings aus Ende Dezember. Es geht um Jumanji: Willkommen im Jungel, ich persönlich stand dem Film sehr skeptisch gegenüber da ich das Original aus dem Jahr 1995 sehr oft gesehen habe und obwohl ich kein Fan bin von Robin Williams, seine Arbeiten doch sehr zu schätzen weiß. Und da will ich gleich mal ansetzen, vergleicht diesen Film nicht mit dem Alten, Schauspielerisch ist er einfach auf einem anderen Niveau. Das macht aber auch gar nichts er schafft es trotzdem seine 2 Stunden absolut überzeugend zu unterhalten. Es ist einfach eine lockere Komödie, die mit wirklichen netten Effekten und Ideen aufwarten kann, die man definitiv nicht alle von Anfang an durchschaut. Die Schauspieler liefern durchweg ihre Rollen solide und glaubhaft ab. Und auch Mr.Johnson zeigt einmal mehr das er auch witzig kann, wirklich gut gemacht. Ohne jetzt zu spoilern möchte ich noch ein paar Worte über das Ende sagen. Es ist spannend gemacht und gut mit Action bestückt, dazu kommt tatsächlich noch ein Moment des Tiefgangs, davon hätte ich mir allerdings während des Films noch etwas mehr erwartet, dem Schluss hätten daher 5 Minuten extra gut getan. Aber sonst ist der Film richtig witzige und seichte Unterhaltung, die es sich dann doch lohnt anzuschauen, viel Spass!

Autor

Der Autor Chris McKenna hat bereits Bildgewaltige Filme wie Spiderman: Homecoming oder Ant Man and the Wasp geschrieben und auch bei den Folgen von American Dad lässt er sich nicht bitten. Ich bin zufrieden mit seiner Arbeit bei Jumanji, nicht besser wie das Original aber anders und das ist mir lieber wie zu versuchen genauso gut zu sein und nicht mal die Hälfte zu schaffen.

Mein Tipp

Vergesst das Original und vor allem versucht nicht den flair von damals in euch wieder zu beleben. Das schafft er nicht und soll er auch gar nicht.

Plot (Spoilerfrei)

Vier Jugendliche, unterschiedlicher könnten Sie nicht sein, das Girli Bethany, der Sportfreak Fridge, die Außenseiterin Martha und der Nerd Spencer, müssen in der Schule nachsitzen, genauer gesagt den Keller aufräumen. Dort findet Spencer eine alte Konsole aus den 80ern und bringt sie prompt zum laufen. Auf dem Bildschirm erscheint “Jumanji, ein Dschungel Abenteuer”, was solls denken sich die vier und wagen ein Spiel. Doch nach der Auswahl der Charaktere werden Sie wirklich nach Jumanji versetzt, dort stellen Sie schnell fest das Sie in einem Spiel gefangen sind und jeder spezielle Fähigkeiten und Schwächen hat. Diese gilt es nun richtig einzusetzen um aus dem Dschungel Albtraum zu entkommen. Dazu müssen Sie allerdings auch zusammenarbeiten was sich leichter anhört als es ist. Macht euch bereit für ein wildes Dschungelabenteuer.

Grundsätzlich hat der Filme gut Kritiken bekommen, allerdings vergleichen meiner Meinung nach zu viele Kritiker hier das Original mit diesem Film und geben dann eine schlechte Bewertung.

a new contribution to the #FilmFriday, initiated by #javehimself. Today there is an almost current film from the year 2017, but from the end of December. It's about Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, personally I was very sceptical about the movie because I saw the original from 1995 very often and although I'm not a fan of Robin Williams, I really appreciate his work. And that's where I want to start right away, don't compare this movie with the old one, it's just on a different level of acting. But that doesn't matter at all he still manages to entertain his 2 hours absolutely convincingly. It's just a casual comedy with really nice effects and ideas that you definitely can't see through from the beginning. The actors consistently deliver their roles in a solid and credible manner. And also Mr.Johnson shows once more that he can be funny, really well done. Without spoiling now I would like to say a few words about the end. It is made exciting and well equipped with action, in addition there is actually a moment of draught, but I would have expected a little more of it during the movie, so the ending would have done 5 minutes extra good. But otherwise the movie is really funny shallow entertainment worth watching, have fun!

The authorChris McKenna has already written powerful films like Spiderman: Homecoming or Ant Man and the Wasp and even with the episodes of American Dad he will not be asked. I am satisfied with his work at Jumanji, not better than the original but different and I prefer that as trying to be just as good and not even do half.

Don't forget the original and above all don't try to revive the flair in you. He can't and shouldn't.

Plot (no spoiler)

Four teenagers, you could not be different, Girli Bethany, the sports freak Fridge, the outsider Martha and the nerd Spencer, have to detain in school, to be more precise, clean up the cellar. There the Spencer finds an old console from the 80s and gets it up and running promptly. Jumanji, a jungle adventure" appears on the screen, what the four think and dare a game. But after choosing the characters you will really be transferred to Jumanji, where you quickly realize that you are trapped in a game and everyone has special abilities and weaken. Now it's up to you to get out of the jungle nightmare. But you also have to work together, which sounds easier than it is. Get ready for a wild jungle adventure.
