Marvel Unleashes Their Phase 4 Add Camping

Movies are coming back. Marvel will make sure of that. Marvel movies have taken a step back during the COVID-19 outbreak in favor of their Disney+ TV shows, but now they are coming back. Sure Black Widow will be released in both theaters and Disney+, but as this teaser loudly states, there is nothing like the cinematic experience. I mean they put in audience reactions for Avengers: Endgame, you can't get that experience at home. The teaser also promises that it has all been worth the wait and I believe it.

The teaser first starts off by reminding us of all of the characters that we love. How much we love to escape to that world and be a part of it. The Stan Lee voiceover does a lot of the emotional heavy lifting. But we all know the marvelous Marvel past, it is time to step into the future as this teaser tease so many future Marvel movies.

First of all Black Widow is coming in fast on July 9. It is only two months away. Plus we get some new footage from the movie, although nothing too revealing.

We do get cool new images and action scenes from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and boy does this movie look super cool. Although it has a not so cool release date of September 3, 2021.

Then comes a much expected first look at the Eternals. Which is very timely as this movie's director Chloé Zhao just won a freaking Oscar for best director, being the only second woman to win that Oscar. Although they don't emphasize her name here, but you can be damn sure that her name will be plastered all over the add camping for this movie. We get to see a little bit of powers and mostly Angelina Jolie and Gemma Chan. They are going to be the bringers of change and hopefully the bringers of mutants to the MCU. The movie comes out November 5, 2021. November is a really good month for Marvel movies.

Then we get the names and dates of future phase 4 movies. Spider-Man: No Way Home or as we like to call it, live action Spider-Verse will come out on December 17, 2021. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will come out of March 22, 2021. March is an odd month, but this movie is basically Avengers 4.5 so we shall allow it. It will incredible no matter what. Thor: Love and Thunder will kickoff summer 2022 when it comes out on May 6, 2022. Then comes a giant big surprise and that is the reveal of the name of the Black Panther sequel which will be call Black Panther: Wakanda Forever once you think about it, it really can't have a different name. The movie will come out on July 8, 2022 and will not recast Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa. Another big surprise is the Captain Marvel sequel which is called The Marvels which means Brie Larson's Carol Danvers will share her leading role in the movie with Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel. In fact, their signature symbols are incorporated into the Captain Marvel logo. It's a strange move and I feel bad for Brie Larson who basically lost her leading role status, but Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau was so good on WandaVision that I can't wait to see more from her. The movie will come out on November 11, 2022. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will introduce Marvel's next Thanos, Kang the Conqueror which will be played by the brilliant Jonathan Majors. The movie will come out in February 17, 2023, which is an odd choice as the 14th is more appropriate for a movie focusing on a couple. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will kickoff summer 2023 when it comes out on May 5, 2023. Fantastic Four will close phase 4, but it doesn't have a release date. I am betting on May 2024. Looks like phase 4 is full of interesting surprises and will play on our heart strings.

Also, it's not a phase without an Avengers movie so I hope that they are simply hiding one. I mean Dark Avengers are pretty much assembled as well as a new roster of New Avengers, plus the Young Avengers. I want to see that big A on the big screen.

I love that it says at the end "see you at the movies." Because that is what we love the most. The TV shows are a nice addition, but at this point we know that they are no so significant in the long run. The movies is where the big stuff happens and I really missed them.
