I’m a child of light,

Born into it, the rhetorics; the redundancy;
guided in its path, through beliefs of rewards, threats of doom.

But

in my entire sojourn, the light only succeeded in enlightening my soul of the beauty of darkness
the calm, fear, mystery... the evils that lurk.
