The need for man to master itself is an obligation entrusted upon us the living to master the art of true nature which is a mystery presented unto us by mother nature. The question is, has man tried to answer this very call? My answer is yes, man has tried to solve the problems facing itself, even have gone beyond very self to tackle the problem presented by the imminent environment by discovering a machine that can manuveur a complex task and bring out the desired result and not to mention but many more. The following are techniques and technicalities that will enable one know where and how to concentrate his major strength
FEEDBACK ANALYSIS
It was invented sometimes in the fourteenth century by an otherwise totally enlightened German theologian and picked up quite independently, some 150 years later by john calvin and Ignatius Loyola, each of whom incorporated it into the practice of their followers. They both founded an institution the Calvinist church and the Jesuit order which came to dominate Europe at the time.The method will show one what one is failing that deprive one the full benefits of your strengths. It will show you where you are competent and can perform, and also where you are incompetent and cannot perform.
HOW DO I LEARN
Another important fact to note about oneself is whether I am the listening type or the reading type. Experience among students have shown that some students learn effectively by listening in the class some learn effectively by reading after class lecture. Another thing to keep to notice to whether you learn by writing. it is Because schools do not allow them to learn this way as a rule. They get poor outcome in their annual result certificate in school. To manage yourself effectively, you also have to ask do I work well with people, or am I a loner? In addition, if you do work well with people, you then must ask in what relationship?. Some people work best as a team player, others work best alone, others are talented as a coach and mentors. Another circuit question is, do I produce results as a decision maker or as a good adviser. A great many people perform best as advisers but cannot take the burden and pressure of making the decision themselves. A great many others, by contrary need an adviser to force himself or herself to make a decision.
WHAT ARE MY VALUES
One condemns oneself to frustration and non-performance if one works in an organization whose value system is incompatible with one’s value system. Where do I belong in the society greatly gifted people, do not really know where they belong until they are well over their mid-twenties. By that time, they would the answers to the following questions: what are my strengths? How do I perform?, what are my values?
