Lucid Hurricane Suspended As Twitter Continues One-Sided Censorship, Allows Threats Against Users

Twitter's stock is plummeting again as the platform once more decides to put its politics ahead of business, with numerous scandals already under Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's belt, will ongoing double standards ever cease?

Fury Hurricane

Lucid Hurricane, a far-right Twitter personality known primarily by her avatar of Natalia Poklonskaya as well as long informational threads documenting violence perpetrated by groups such as ANTIFA, has once again been suspended by the platform. This has occurred as Twitter continues maintaining a double standard with censorship, opting to censor politically inconvenient individuals, while allowing threats from those they deem acceptable to be directed at said individuals. Recently this occurred with another [Conservative] Twitter personality, Baked Alaska, who was threatened by user Antonio David:

UPDATE: David deleted this Tweet of his own accord, the sole one to be so, but was not punished or suspended for his Tweets.

Despite this threat of physical violence having violated the Twitter Rules, as well as also being reported by a large number of individuals, nothing has been done as of this posting β€” representing approximately 48 96 hours. Baked Alaska did respond:

After which the threat was reiterated:

Another threat was made to Paul Joseph Watson:

As well as other users:

This user is part of the protected class, those that are able to break the rules, due to their political ideology or other 'perks.'

As is clearly observable, Twitter like other big tech social media platforms, is engaged in policies which are inherently one-sided. With censorship now taking root in new ways, those of us in the far-right face many new challenges, especially difficult given that we were barred by default to begin with. Lucid Hurricane has also received threats in the past which went unanswered.

An account going by the name Hate Hunters (ID: 849265373975326722) has claimed responsibility for her suspension:

Despite proclaiming to be a bastion for Twitter, the owner or owners of the account are technically in violation of the rules, specifically impersonation:

Trademark: We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames. Accounts using business names and/or logos to mislead others may be permanently suspended.

Due to the choice of profile & potentially the header image using Twitter's own stylizing β€” they are misrepresenting their account to other users on the platform.

Misuse of Twitter badges: You may not use badges, such as but not limited to the β€œpromoted” or β€œverified” Twitter badge, unless provided by Twitter. Accounts using these badges as part of profile photos, header photos, or in a way that falsely implies affiliation with Twitter, may be suspended.

They should be suspended for this, as well as for engaging in targeted harassment against multiple users for political reasons, their profile is archived for posterity in case our valued readers indeed decide to report them & "Hate Hunters" can always be found via their User ID. Until they are suspended that is.

Of course, the much more troubling issue here is that Twitter's Support staff were actively responding to this account's reports, despite it impersonating verified users and/or Twitter.

Bias, huh.
