JUVENILE JUSTICE IS HUNTING ON KIDS IN SUMMER

Summer is time for rest. But not for juvenile justice. It's high time for them to start hunting for kids who rest anywhere in nature without presence of their parents. Even if they are with other relatives!

I've touched this topic in my previous post, but it was just news from mass-media. I was waiting for a legal explanation of people from Family protection movement in my country. And here it is!

Despite the fact that officials threat families to use CPS power and financial penalties to control kids without parents anywhere in streets or on beaches, all their actions have no legal support!!

In fact, these inspectors do not even have a legal reason to ask who the child is with! Moreover, to find out personal information, including parents’ phone numbers.

The inviolability of family and personal life is protected by law in our country. Those same legal representatives of children (usually parents) bear full responsibility for the safety of their children and only they can decide with whom and where it is safe for children to be.

Or maybe officials try to create 'ideal parents' as a kangaroo, in whose pouch children should be kept at all times until they are 14 years old??

How they will earn money for life, I wonder?
If they don't do it, CPS will be the first to come and take away kids "because of poverty"!
So it's a circle??

At the same time, the officials themselves, even when removing children from the family, do not bear any real responsibility for their lives and health.
Unfortunately, there are some tragic cases when kids, who were taken away from families, died... And still no one was punished for it...

Maybe it's the reason why officials are so brave in their actions and decisions.

The Children's Rights Commissioner announced her intentions to check the guardianship system, which is one of the main elements of the juvenile system in Russia. We hope that the human rights activist will also be interested in the lawlessness of the CPS and will try finish it.
