There was also a time, when Bangladesh used to smuggle Indian 5 rupee coins and after that converts it to blade. 6 blades were made from 1 coin and it costs 2 rupee per blade. By doing so, Blade makers were making enough of money. Then RBI changed the material which was used to make that coin and this material could not be melted as before. This decision was taken by RBI Executive HR Khan. To halt the smuggling of coins.
