When I discovered Facebook, I was excited. I was early adopter of Facebook. I have spent hundreds of hour in Facebook. Initially Facebook was for social connection. I was also fortunate to find out some of my long lost through Facebook. Facebook is a king of Introducing new features. Every month or two, new features is introduced. Newsfeed, Facebook groups, Facebook Page are the dominant features.

But what we have seen now is totally discouraging. Facebook uses are personal information, collecting our data, Breaking our privacy and making huge money. This is the disadvantage of centralized social media. Facebook like social media is not the solution for connectivity. Facebook lost its credibility.

Decentralized Social media like Steemit is a great solution. Steemit does not collect your personal data and does not sell your private information. In terms of privacy, Steemit is the best solution.

I am also interested about all decentralized social media. Recently, I found out a social media named minds. Minds is an awesome platform. It has the potentiality to become a major social media in the coming days.
