"We are working unilaterally with non-profit organizations, health sector experts, important donors and people. This feature has been designed to help people who use Facebook to find blood donors.

Hema said there would be a message on Facebook News Feed to encourage blood donors. Users can edit profiles for signing up. All the users' information will be confidential and by default the only default will be set. But people can share their blood status or blood donor status.

About the feature, Android, IOS and Bangladeshis will be able to go to Facebook.com / donate blood and sign up for a blood donor.

Facebook's South Asia Program Head Ritesh Mehta said, "We hope that increasing the awareness among the public and increasing the number of blood donors in Bangladesh, personal and institutional blood donation and adoption will be easier, which was not possible before.
