Veteran Actress, Bimbo Akintola has been unveiled as the host for the first of its kind award ceremony in Oyo State, Pacesetter Entertainment & Recognition Awards (PERA).
The talented actress would be anchoring the show alongside Segun Ogundipe, popularly known as LafUp, who kicked off his comedy career from the ancient city of Ibadan, South West Nigeria. Both Hosts are indigenes of Oyo State and they would be doing the ancient city proud as the first Host for PERA.
PERA has been established to acknowledge, encourage and celebrate excellence amongst indigenes and residents of Oyo state who have made an indelible mark in their chosen career.
The voting process for the award started from October 1 and will run until November 15, 2017, to allow adequate collation of votes and final selection of the people’s choice.
Voting is currently ongoing on www.peraawards.com/voting and over 85, 000 votes have been recorded.
The award night has been slated for Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at Jogor Centre, Ibadan with the theme: Celebrating Excellence & Achievement in Oyo State and it’s strictly by invitation.
Veteran Actress Bimbo Akintola who is also the brand ambassador for the award, 9ice, Saheed Osupa, Saidi Balogun, Funke Adesiyan, Aramide, Hafeez Oyetoro (Saka), Eng Seyi Makinde, Chief Adebayo Akande, Shina Peller, Yemi Sonde, Edmund Obilo, Akin Alabi, Rose Odika and a host of others will be gracing this award in Oyo state.
