Hola Steemians! @alyssaechavaria again. I put violet lipstick because purple symbolizes a healthy woman with dignity. Today before this day end, I would like to greet all the women out there a happy international women's day. This is another year to celebrate for a woman having the gender equality. This day we are celebrating that we got the rights of parity.

Women in the Philippines before the American period are not allowed to go to school and they don't have the right to vote even if Philippines is a democratic country.
Before the only task of a women is to do the household chores while the men will work for the family. Most of the parents before wished that they won't bear a baby girl. Until the Americans arrive they give equal rights for the women to study and to vote back then many women became professional.
Woman needs Empowerment. This day is the day we should look back on the achievements that we made and our contribution in the progress of society. Women are Heros too they are the light of the homes and we are lucky that there are laws now that protecting women's right. Women's show that we can be a great servers too and we can do what can the men do.
We as a women we don't have to be the best because we have the ability to be the greatest.
