One day, a farmer brought a goose home to his house The next day, the goose brought out a golden egg.
"The magical goose," said the farmer. He immediately took the golden egg to the gold merchant in the market to see if it was really gold.
"This is pure gold," said the gold trader. The merchant bought the gold with a lot of money.
Since then, the goose every day brings out a golden egg. Today, farmers already have a dozen golden eggs. But, he is still not satisfied.
"I'm going to be rich, but I want a goose out of a golden egg every day to get rich quick," said the farmer.
After the goose brings out many golden eggs in a day, farmers are still not satisfied as well. "The goose brings out many golden eggs, I will not wait tomorrow, I want to get rich quick, I will slaughter the goose and take all the gold in its body," the farmer thought.
The farmer slaughtered the goose, but he was very surprised. He did not find any golden egg in a swan's body.
Now, he can only regret. Because of greed, he has slaughtered a goose. If he had not slaughtered the goose, he would still be able to get a golden egg. That's the result of greed.
The Moral Message from Short Story from Greece is not to be a greedy person. Be patient and work hard to achieve success. People who are greedy and impatient will only lose. God hates greedy people.
