Family spirit of Myanmar covers the whole village in rural life. Village elders have authority to guide the village youth. They can even cane the wrongdoers of the village. Youths are used to pay respect to village elders as their own fathers. Village elders love the village children as their own off-spring.
ျမန္မာတို႔၏ မိသားစုစိတ္ဓာတ္သည္ေက်းလက္ေဒသမ်ားတြင္ တစ္ရြာလံုးကို အက်ံဳး၀င္သည္။ ရပ္ရြာလူႀကီး သူမတို႔သည္ တစ္ရြာလံုးမွ လူငယ္မ်ားကို ဆိုဆုံးမပိုင္ခြင့္႐ွိ၏။ မည္သူ၏ သားသမီးကိုမဆို လူႀကီးမ်ားက လူငယ္မ်ားအား အျမင္မေတာ္လ်ွင္ ႀကိမ္လုံးျဖင့္ ႐ုိက္ႏွက္ဆုံးမပိုင္ခြင့္ ရိွသည္။ ရပ္ရြာလူႀကီးမ်ားကို လူငယ္မ်ားသည္ မိမိတို႔ဖခင္ႀကီးအား ႐ိုေသကိုင္း႐ႈိင္းသလို ႐ိုေသၾကသည္။ လူႀကီးမ်ားကလည္း တစ္ရြာလံုး႐ွိ ကေလးမ်ားကို မိမိတို႔၏ ရင္မွျဖစ္ေသာ သားသမီးကဲ့သ္ို႔ သေဘာထား၏ ။
Myanmar pay respect to all those are older than them even for second. They pay respect to those who are superior to them in status or rank. A village in Myanmar is just like a family.
ျမန္မာတို႔သည္ မိမိထက္ အသက္တစ္ရက္ တစ္မနက္ တစ္နာရီ၊ တစ္မိနစ္ ၊ တစ္စကၠန္႔ ၊ တစ္ဗီဇနာႀကီးသူကို ႐ိုေသၾကသည္။ မိမိထက္ ဂုဏ္သိကၡာ ရာထူးႀကီးျမင့္သူမ်ားကိုလည္း အဆင့္ဆင့္ ႐ိုေသၾကသည္။ ျမန္မာေက်းရြာတစ္ရြာသည္ မိသားစုတစ္စုကဲ့သို႔ျဖစ္၏။
