JAKARTA - Indonesia is a promising market for Luno, a digital asset company headquartered in London, England. This is evident from the growth of the platform users in the country who touched 400% last year.

According to Vijay Ayyar, General Manager of Luno, the rapid growth of the number of users is because digital assets such as Bitcoin have become very popular in recent years. The rise in prices as well as the advantages therein becomes the factors that cause cryptocurrency to be popular.

"Thousands of digital assets on the internet today are a big revolution in the digital economy.Bitcoin, which is one among the digital assets, is able to represent technology to send cheaper and faster money without third parties," he said.

He continued, Bitcoin and the blockchain that background as well as the internet. It used to be time for the internet to make use of it, similar to the digital investment that was initially considered impossible.

With the addition of new users up to 700 people every day in Indonesia, with a total of 300 thousand users, Luno already plans to add team members, add customer service with Bahasa Indonesia, and customize products based on community preferences here. In addition, the company is also conducting educational activities through various channels because they are more targeting the community extensively to people with minimal knowledge about cryptocurrency.

Currently, Luno offers two digital currencies on its platform, Bitcoin and Ethereum. This is because both are cryptocurrencies with the largest market capitalization, as well as the most popular than other digital currencies.
