Trophy Hunting

Trophy hunting was a term known to me reading news about people cruelly killing endangered species and animals in the wildlife. The pictures always made me cringe and I wondered what kind of a hobby is this. These animals are protected but when rich people throw in money they can do just about anything.

Recently I learnt about a similar case in Pakistan, our national animal is the Markhor a beautiful beastly creature which has such fascinating horns and looks fit to be the pride of Pakistan. It is also an endangered species and so is protected by the Government. This is where it all went wrong an American citizen hunted a beast for a price of 110,000$ unfortunately the protectors couldn't help themselves infront of such money in an interview the man seemed quute satisfied as he explained how he hunted down the innocent animal.

From January 2019 almost 50 Markhor have been hunted down all in the price range of approximately 100,000$ which is quite a lot of money for such a cruel hobby. Now a petition is being laid out to ban the hunting of the animal and I hope it gets approved before more of these creatures are hunted down.
