One thing I'd recommend that has helped me out a lot, check out The Art of Photography with Ted Forbes on YouTube, he has hundreds of videos on all aspects of composition, style, technique, artist profiles, all sorts of stuff. Look into it, there's hours of education to be had there. Good luck!
