A Palestinian prisoner died in Israeli custody. According to the WAFA news agency, the detainee was reportedly dead after suffering a heart attack.

Aziz Oweisat (53) a resident of Jabal Al-Mukaber from East Jerusalem died at an Israeli hospital on Sunday.
Oweisat is facing a 30-year prison sentence in 2014. He was convicted of trying to blow up a gas supply pipeline to Armon Hanatzif settlement. This settlement was built on Jabal Al-Mukaber land that was taken over.
In May, the inmate allegedly attacked a prison guard and was then beaten. According to the report, Oweisat suffered several complications. But Israeli occupation forces refused to release him for medical treatment.
The WAFA said several Palestinians demonstrated at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem on Sunday to protest the death of Oweisat. They say the death of Oweisat due to medical negligence.
"Israeli police attacked protesters using tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets that caused some injuries and forced them to disperse," wrote the WAFA in its report
WAFA added Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons hammered prison cells and started shouting after hearing the news of Oweisat's death.
