Invite New Community Join Steemit
The participants of the first level cadre training at the Economic Commission of Malikussaleh University (Unimal) of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) of Lhoksemawe Branch and North Aceh visited on Sunday (22/4/2018) to the Lambokseumawe Bureau of the Indonesian Serambi Bureau. Their arrival to the Lhokseumawe Bureau for hospitality as well as follow the follow-up materials after they finish following basic training in HMI for a week.
They are students of Faculty of Economics, from Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unimal. They mentioned wanting to learn how the tips to write articles that can be published in the mass media, such as Serambi.
I started by telling the brief history of Harian Serambi Indonesia, which was founded on 9 February 1989 in Banda Aceh-Indonesia. The idea of the local newspaper's inception to meet the needs of open information development through mass media is believed to be the essential need of the modern state. At that time the Governor of Aceh, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hasan also supported. The brief historical story ends in the development of multiplatform now, with the online presence, radio, online tivi, and print porch and prohaba.
As we already know with the contents of a newspaper or mass media that among them, news, advertising, editorial / editorial, caricature, corner, articles, columns and letters readers. I hope the visiting student can learn more about how to write articles for opinion sections and write letters to readers.
Moreover, minimal students who are able to write articles and have rarely found students who want to write a letter to the newspaper readers. Though the media has provided space for learning to write. Even for the Saturday edition the rubric of opinion is reserved for students. So it is unfortunate if the student friends do not use to learn to write.
In the meeting, the students also mentioned that they do not have a steemit account yet, they only know the name of steemit. Therefore the meeting lasted longer than we planned to end at 12.00 pm. In that opportunity try to explain this new platform and motivate them to immediately sign up to get steemit account so it can be used as a medium for learning to write.
Because steemit is not limiting with a particular theme in writing, so it becomes the right medium for beginners or who want to seriously learn to write. Because if they immediately write an article, it is feared will not be able to penetrate the media. Because many requirements must be met so that articles can be loaded.
Starting the idea of writing should be new, writing should be traced, the problem written is something interesting and phenomenal then, with the number of ntukan and other conditions. Surely there will be rejection by the editor, because they have not been able to produce quality articles. That's why I repeatedly submit to register in steemit, then continue to fill the post with the writing of various themes that are liked and mastered, with already used to write their fore not only able to write articles but books.
Ajak Komunitas Baru Gabung ke Steemit
Peserta latihan kader tingkat I di Komisariat Ekonomi Universitas Malikussaleh (Unimal) Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) Cabang Lhoksemawe dan Aceh Utara, Minggu (22/4/2018) berkunjung ke Kantor Harian Serambi Indonesia Biro LHokseumawe. Kedatangan mereka ke Biro Lhokseumawe untu silaturahmi sekaligus mengikuti materi lanjutan setelah mereka selesai mengikui training dasar di HMI selama sepekan.
Mereka adalah mahasiswa Fakutas Ekonomi, dari Fakultas Hukum dan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Unimal. Mereka menyebutkan ingin mempelajari bagaimana kiat-kiat menulis artikel yang bisa dimuat di media massa, seperti Serambi.
Saya memulainya dengan menceritakan sejarah singkat Harian Serambi Indonesia, yang didirikan pada 9 Februari 1989 di Banda Aceh. Gagasan pedirian koran daerah saat itu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengembangan informasi terbuka melalui media massa diyakini sebagai kebutuhan hakiki negara modern. Saat itu Gubernur Aceh, Prof Dr Ibrahim Hasan juga mendukung. Cerita sejarah singkat itu berakhir pada pengembangan multiplatform sekarang, dengan sudah adanya, online, radio, tivi online, dan cetak serambi dan prohaba.
Sebagaimana sudah kita ketahui bersama isi dari sebuah koran atau media massa itu di antaranya, berita, iklan, tajuk rencana/editorial, karikatur, pojok, artikel, kolom dan surat pembaca. Saya berharap mahasiswa yang berkunjung tersebut dapat mempelajari lebih dalam bagaimana menulis artikel untuk rubrik opini dan menulis surat pembaca.
Apalagi, minim mahasiswa yang mampu menulis artikel dan sudah jarang ditemukan mahasiswa yang mau menulis surat pembaca untuk koran. Padahal media sudah menyediakan ruang untuk belajar menulis. Bahkan untuk edisi Sabtu rubrik opini disediakan khusus kepada mahasiswa. Jadi sangat disayangkan jika teman-teman mahasiswa tidak memanfaatkan untuk belajar menulis.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut mahasiswa juga menyebutkan belum memiliki akun steemit, mereka baru sebatas mengenal nama steemit. Karena itu pertemuan berlangsung lebih lama dari yang kami rencanakan berakhir pukul 12.00 WIB. Dalam kesempatan itu mencoba menjelasan platform baru ini dan memotivasi mereka untuk segera mendaftar guna mendapatkan akun steemit sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media untuk belajar menulis.
Karena steemit tidak membatasi dengan tema tertentu dalam menulis, sehingga menjadi media yang tepat bagi pemula atau yang ingin serius belajar menulis. Sebab kalau mereka langsung menulis artikel, dikhawatirkan tidak akan mampu menembus media. Karena banyak persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi supaya artikel dapat dimuat.
Mulai ide tulisan harus baru, tulisan harus runut, persoalan yang ditulis adalah sesuatu yang menarik dan fenomenal lalu, dengan jumlah ntukan dan syarat lainnnya. Pasti akan terjadi penolakan oleh redaktur, karena mereka belum mampu menghasilkan artikel berkualitas. Karena itulah saya berulangkali menyampaikan agar segera mendaftar di steemit, kemudian terus mengisi postingan dengan tulisan berbagai tema yang disukai dan dikuasai, dengan sudah terbiasa menulis kedepan mereka bukan hanya mampu menulis artikel tapi buku.(*)
