Serve God faithfully

It pays to serve Jesus, so says a line in that song that we all love to sing. The last line of the chorus says, "I'll be a true soldier, I'll die at my post." When you are called to serve, necessity is laid on serving faithfully. God's call to any man or woman must be taken with a higher level of faithfulness. You must be ready to give it your all without reserving anything of yours. Be ready to give God your all.

Summary:
The understanding of the word "STEWARD" is key to knowing why faithfulness required. Stewardship is simply the position of a steward. In Biblical sense, it designates one who administers business, property or any other concerns on behalf of someone else. A steward is a servant in the house. As a servant, he/she must gain the trust of the master. He/she must be trustworthy. The master must be able to entrust the safety and welfare of the entire household into his/her hands. For Kings, it is the steward who will taste their food and wine first should such food and wine have been poisoned. The steward faithfully taste the wine or food even if they were poisoned.
