There are some Ramadan virtues.
First, syahrul azhim (great month). Azhim is the name and nature of God. However, it is also used to show admiration for the greatness and glory of something. Ramadan is glorious and glorious, for God Himself has glorified and honored him.
Second, syahrul mubarak. This month is full of blessings, powerful and useful. Seconds by time, the time that runs in this holy month, it is like a series of diamonds that are very valuable to the faithful. Because everything is blessed and the deeds of worship are multiplied.
Third, shiyam syahru. In the month of Ramadan from beginning to end we establish one of the five pillars (pole) of Islam is very important, namely shaum (fasting). Fourth, syahru nuzulil qur'an. "The month of Ramadan is the month in which the Qur'an is revealed as a guide for man, an explanation for guidance, and a furqan." (Al-Baqarah [2]: 185).
Fifth, syahrul musawwah (month of compensation). In the month of Ramadan it is advisable for every Muslim to share with each other, to be affectionate with others whose condition is far more concerning than us.
Sixth, shabrud shabr (month of patience). The month of Ramadan trains the Muslim soul to always endure not to complain and to withstand the test. Forbearance is the power of the soul from all forms of mental, spiritual, and operational weakness. People will be patient with God while the patience of those who are patient is heaven. Hopefully all can take advantage of this momentum of Ramadan to multiply worship to Allah. Amin.
