Toyota Launches Latest Hilux, Consider Specification & Strength

Hilux 4x4 latest generation variants appear more robust. Exterior New Hilux 4x4 is now more emotional where New Hilux 4x4 no longer use water scoop.
In dimensions, all Hilux 4x4 variants, the additional cabin and double cabin (E, G, and V), now have the same size of 5,335 mm long, 1,885 mm wide and 1,815 mm high.
To give a strong and emotional impression, New Hilux comes in 5 colors, super white II, metallic silver, metallic gray, black mica attitude, and crimson red metallic which was previously only available on V grade.
This model is increasingly visible with strong body structure and suspension are developed to be able to withstand heavy loads and able to pass through various heavy fields.
In addition, all variants of 4x4 double cabin is equipped with a differential lock to be able to devour various challenging roadblocks. Especially on the variant V, there is a feature Hill Start Assist (HSA) which serves to adjust the vehicle so as not to slide during the derivative and not backward when it was uphill.
Currently all variants of 4x4 Hilux use a more powerful series engine, replacing the previous series 2 KD-FTV VNT. This new engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 149.6 PS, increased compared to the previous engine power of 144 PS.
The maximum torque reached 40.8 kgm, an increase compared to the previous 35 kgm. In addition, the fuel consumption of 2GDHI engine is more efficient. Substitution engine is done to customize the needs of Hilux 4x4 customers in the private or commercial segment.
To support the performance of 2GDHI engine, Toyota also changed the transmission to improve the efficiency of power distribution to four wheels, namely by using the RC60 model for manual transmission and AC 60 for 6-speed automatic transmission used on the V variant.
