How Do Crystals and Gemstones Work?

For thousands of years, crystals and gemstones have been used to enhance physical, emotional and spiritual balance. They are even used in modern technology due to their balanced, ordered structure and ability to emit and receive frequencies.

How Are Gemstones Formed?

Crystals and Gemstones are formed over millions of years, deep within the earth between the mantle and the crust and are the embodiment of highly concentrated energy. The mantle is made of molten rock called magma and the crust consists of several plates that float on top of the mantle. A turbulent zone with high temperatures and pressures is created where the mantle and crust meet.

Fluids escaping from the magma flow through cavities that are formed by fractures in the lower surface of the crust. This chemical rich fluid provides the perfect conditions for gemstone growth. Crystallization finally occurs as the fluid cools within the cavities.

Everything Is Energy

All matter is energy in physical form. Gemstones emit energy with each stone vibrating at a specific frequency. The cells in our bodies also vibrate at specific frequencies.
When we come into contact with crystals, the combined frequencies resonate and create another vibrational field which positively effects our bodies, minds and spirits.

Gemstone Jewelry

One of the most powerful energy tools for delivering the benefits of healing gemstones is gemstone jewelry.
Wearing a gemstone around your neck or even as earrings allows the gemstone’s energy to radiate deep into your energetic field.
Some gemstones work by dissipating any negative blockages you may have, while others work to emit positive energy.

My favorite gemstone is Amethyst!

Amethyst can be used for spiritual and emotional balance. It can also amplify higher states of consciousness and intuition.

Do you have any favorite Gemstones?
