Just looking at the charts will only ever tell part of the story. There are a number of landmarks coming up for EOS which should have a big impact
- The coming public testnet. This is in 3 weeks (4th Dec)
- Halfway through the token distribution period (timewise) - in 5 weeks (16th Dec)
- Over 2/3rds of tokens distributed - in 6 weeks (23rd Dec)
Then the following will could all start some decent momentum
- Announcement of partners / dapp funding
- Working proof of concept dapps on testnet
- Serious infrastructure players start testnet nodes
Of course, there could be negative factors which play a part as well
- The bitcoin wars could cause a meltdown in crypto markets.
- Various countries regulators could come after crypto
- Competing chains could start to look more scalable and or just better than EOS
- Major flaws could be found in the EOS design or it simply turns out to not be as good as is expected
- Some of the FUD about block.one turns out to be true
The next few months are going to be very interesting.
