EDIT1 I'm assuming this must have to do with the Parity debacle, none of the associated addresses show up as affected when checked at https://www.justcryptonews.com/225/parity-hack-how-check-whether-your-address-affected, but somewhere down the line this has to be the issue. I also found this same type of methodid referenced in other articles talking about the situation.
