In a first, this is a news piece driven in part by a discovery on Steemit. Berlin based act - and record label in their own right @zanderhythm - have contributed to this various artists release on Mindcolormusic, recording under the alias Vodor | Zeck. If cementing that this is a package to pay attention to, it was also flagged to me by Roger Van Lunteren - who made one of the stand out cuts on Miss Kittin's seminal Radio Caroline mix - over on Facebook.
The release also features contributions from Quadratschulz, Bromic, Stutterfingers, Mystes System, Sonornote, Bovaflux and Zackenblitz. Sonically, it lives in that mid-nineties era of IDM which brought together musicality and technological exploration under one roof, pushing back and decimating boundaries erected around longstanding genres such as electro, acid and techno.
