Edward Harrison Norton

 

Edward Harrison Norton- is an American actor, film director, screenwriter, producer, cameraman and editor, three-time nominee for the Oscar.

Edward Norton was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but grew up in the city of Columbia, Maryland. At the age of five, Edward became interested in theater, soon began studying at the Orensteinian Columbia School of Theater Arts and at the age of eight he made his debut on stage in a local production.

The debut in the movie for Norton was the film "Primeval Fear" (1996), where he played a young imprisoned sociopath. For this role, he received the Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Oscar as the best supporting actor. Subsequently, he was repeatedly nominated, including the best male role for his role in the film about neo-Nazis "American History of X". World glory won for taking part in the adaptation of Chuck Palahnik's novel "Fight Club".
