Hi drummers, I don't know how many of us are there on the Steem world, but... I want to share something with you, an exercise that I wrote about 5 stroke roll!
Starting with the rudiment we could apply a simple transformation in its division. The form remains the same (RRLL - R or LLRR - L) but It will become a quintuplet so the sequence will be RRLLR - LLRRL - e so on...
After that we could start displacing the accent on the quintuplet beginning from the first note, than second, and so on; the form remains the same, the accent moves.
Another manipulation could be on the diddles: take the diddle just before the accented note and split in two beetween the hand and the kickdrum. For example: RRLKR(accent) and LLRKL(accented). Also in this case you could displace the accent around.
