The Exoneratist is basically a conservative and a capitalist. A laissez-faire attitude is essential in order to stop government social and economic interference beyond the minimum.
Through common sense, one realizes that his positive (guilt-less) self-image and his place in society are one and the same. And his place in society is extremely vulnerable if the government is in charge of creating policies in areas that should be off-limits, or at the least limited. Health care, workplace regulations, education, and freedom of expression are discussed below as examples today of liberal and socialist leaning governmental interference. The Exoneratist believes conservative – capitalistic based laws would limit or erase these policies.
US health care is now in the midst of repeal by conservatives (except progressive conservatives) as it has been proven to have been a false hope under government control. Untrue representations have been made by the government, and this is definitely a moral problem for the country. If the government is not truthful in the area of health care, then certainly we cannot count on truthfulness in other areas. The Exoneratist is hopeful that the present Conservative – Capitalistic government will proceed as they have promised to repeal and replace this law. Hopefully there has been a cognitive and pragmatic discussion as to what will be put in its place. Certainly the free market would be one of the best ways to open fair premiums from insurance companies and, if individuals could choose those companies across state lines that might assure lower premium availability.
In the areas of health care and business regulations, if we follow our constitution and limit the involvement of the federal government, this will lessen the interference that has stymied so many entrepreneurs. Costs to small businesses have skyrocketed. Likewise, corporations, under liberal government tax laws have found their ability to seek global markets has been lessened if not stopped. Are these regulations and taxes necessary? Another question for the Exoneratist: “If we cannot believe the liberal government, as stated above, in regard to their national health plan, then how can we believe that their tax and regulatory rules are necessary?” Fortunately, our Conservative – capitalistic government has recently begun repeal of The US Health Care. They have also enacted a new tax law that brings relief to individuals and corporations. And they have put an end to many regulations that were not necessary.
Education suffers as students have been taught to accept failure. The liberal –socialistic ideal of equality does not hold true in educational abilities of students. Students and adults are easily swayed to find comfort in less effort, especially if they are cognizant of the fact that all entries will win a trophy no matter what abilities they have shown. The Exioneratist suggests instead simple hard work and pride should be taught and if there is failure, it should not be something that students seek. There was concern that the liberal Government told local school districts what to teach under Common Core. After much disagreement on this issue, by the state and local education officials, it appears this is not the case and never will be the case. Local and state supervision and more and more home schooling are some answers to our present education dilemma.
It is most distressing that government has entered into suppression of ontological beliefs and historical awareness by limiting freedom of expression. The Christian Faithful had to remove nativity scenes because a few non-Christians were offended. Even statues which glorify real actual leaders in our past have been removed because they offended a few citizens. If government limits freedom of expression, there is concern that we will have to accept ideas that are very different than our own. This will be manipulation by the government and the courts that rule on limiting freedom of expression. The Exoneratist believes that a pragmatic and cognitive discussion on any question of limiting freedom of expression will more probably be made by a conservative –capitalistic government than a liberal – socialist government.
