Ibnu Sina or better known in the western world as Avicenna was born in 980 and died in 1037. He is known as the founder of medical science. His most famous work is Qanun fi Thib which is a Reference in medicine for centuries.

The number of works produced by Ibn Sina during his life is estimated between 100 to 250 books. The outstanding quality of his work and his involvement in medical practice, teaching and politics, demonstrate exceptional levels of ability.
