A mild earthquake felt in different parts of the capital including Dhaka. The earthquake was felt at 10:51 am on Wednesday (8th November).
Bangladesh's Meteorological Department said that the earthquake levels were 4.7 on the Richter scale.
According to the United States Geological Survey Organization (USGS), its geographical location is 18 kilometers east of the Indian state of Tripura. The depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers.
The distance of earthquake origin is 72 kilometers east from Dhaka. There are no immediate reports of damage.
