Message from the guys who wrote the song a few years ago
Crazy how this song has made it this far... Fagan and I created it one day after returning from an OP (40 something days) without being able to shower or eat hot fresh food. Then the day we returned all we wanted was to eat...went to the chow hall in FOB FALCON and my whole squad (full of stained uniforms and with the IDGAF look) got denied at the door by a douche in PTs who called a SGM....needless to say we didn't get to eat and had to eat outside. Took a shower went to our rooms, pulled out the laptop and my little MIDI keyboard and created the song in about 30 mins....glad to see my fellow grunts understand. No disrespect to any MOS but those who try to not support my Infantry brothers for doing what we do...remember this...we chose to do it because people like you (sheep) need to be protected by us (Lions). Currahee till the day we die.
