making your own oat milk: oats, milk, honey, muslim cloth and a blender. Let’s go! :)

Oh man, I never knew this was so easy, may seem like a bit of a waste when it comes to the oats but I guess you could keep the remains and let it go hard and use as a face scrub as well — try and make this stuff stretch!

Anyway, this is dead easy, you could weigh it all out but I’ve found like a couple of big handful of oats, water, blended up in the nutribullet with some honey (or something sweet) and then just drain that mix through a muslim cloth and store in the fridge in a big ass glass bottle.

You might need to shake it if it separates but I think you just gotta increase the oat amount if things go a little skinny, it’s not like milk of course so you might end up with a discoloured tea/coffee but it’s a great replacement I’ve found and gives it a nice taste — save me buying milk anyway!

p.s — also re-upped my flour stash this morning as I was running low from making flatbreads this morning, back to my favourite — the east end premier gold chapati flour, it’s kinda the best I think, love working with that for my flatbreads! :)

Cheers!

p.s --- search 'oatmilk' on tiktok -- https://www.tiktok.com/@payaso.estupido/video/6728951297711639813 -- just one video showing you how ultra easy it is! :)

p.p.s -- re-use the oats from the muslim for a face scrub i'm told too (but i have a beard, so that's not happening!)

p.p.p.s --- also, started following this channel, because wow! :)
