Dtube: Playin' That Game || Hip Hop Winter Surf Session

I'm not telling you that it's going to be easy. I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.

What a crazy December! It took me almost three weeks to recover my bruised knee after that stupid wannabe stuntman show.

During the past weekend I could finally paddle out to catch some waves again. I still needed to protect my knee from the contact with the surfboard's rough surface. Also my body and me were completely out of training, thus this was a quite tough program to paddle through.

That unnecessary accident happend during a video shoot for Steemit (imagine!), so the price I paid for that vlog was quite high. That's what happens when you go all in all the time.

Here's proving that I'm still alive! Click on the following picture to watch the video on Dtube.

Yes, I'm not a doctor and that bandage didn't even survive the first set 😅

Playin' that game again

I'm currently enjoying a great timeout from blogging.

The only type of extremesports I was practicing lately is called extreme couching :-)

But as I mentioned before, it was rather a forced break than a voluntarily one. These two weeks were absolutely endless to me. There are few things I really can't deal with, but waiting is such a thing. I'm really really bad at it!

After two weeks of chilling and hanging around, eating too much Christmas cake and growing some nice little love handles, I'm finally dancing on a surfboard again!

To celebrate that moment I thought it could be a cool move sharing my first surf session after the crash with you. Supposedly it's also going to be one of the last ones in 2017.

The water of that December swell was freezing cold already. Damn!

I had to wear the short pants anyways, since the long suit didn't fit over the knee bandage. After a couple of minutes my legs and feet started to feel numb.

However I didn't really notice that during the session. It felt too good to be back. One thing I definitely need to practice more is how to professionaly apply a bandage. The following GIF proves that there is still much to learn :-)

That moment when the bandage is unhitched but you manage to stay in character anyways.

I hope you enjoyed the little insight and music.

Now you know what I'm doing when I'm not on Steemit.

Merry Christmas and a smooth start into 2018 again! Don't break your legs or something.
